I built a fax server, is it too late?

I built a fax server in my home. Fax is not so important nowadays because of email. However it is very convenient to send hand writings easily without scanner machine. My fax machine was run out of ink sheet which was not cheep and trouble to go to Office Max to buy it. Then I tried to build a fax server. I need not another computer and a equipment. I have a modem, old one which I have not used for long. And my home server is windows server operating system include  a application for fax function. The only I did is installed the modem and the application.

The application is not so bad, have good functions. If the fax received, transfer it me by email automatically. And my parents can send handwriting letters to their grand kids with no trouble.
